Troubleshooting

  • PDF not read: Ensure the file is a text‑based PDF. Scanned images may require OCR; try the QR code instead if present.
  • QR not detected: Check camera permission in your browser and ensure the QR code is well‑lit and in focus.
  • Fields not filled: The NBR eReturn page layout may have changed. Refresh the page and retry; update mappings if needed.
  • Nothing happens on “Fill” click: Confirm you’re on a supported eReturn Ledger page and the extension has permission to read the page.

Tips

  • Prefer the original PDF from the issuer (eChallan, Sonali ePayment, etc.).
  • Keep Chrome updated to the latest version for best compatibility.
  • Save field mappings once to speed up repeated form filling.

Known limitations

  • Heavily scanned or low‑quality PDFs may not extract cleanly without OCR.
